Is it clean?

Does it make you feel smugly superior and rich, because you’re driving the famed 3 pointed star

Is it better in any objective ways than a top-trim Hyundai Tucson?

It is objectively worse in most ways.

Absolutely not , because it has fake leather and hard plastics and no sunroof.

Then I wasn’t wrong in my review!

Honestly, the cleanliness of courtesy vehicles and dealerships is really what makes me want a Mercedes or BMW.
At Ford, even if you have like, a GT350R or something you get the same focus sedan full of farts and boogers and the dealer calls you to ask if you want to trade up to a new Ecosport every few months.

Yeah, it’s nice. W hile I waited for them to process my paperwork and warmed my hands by the gas fireplace a nice lady made me a cappuccino , and then I wandered around sipping it and looked at the new G63.

I went to look at BMW’s one time, like, super serious for buying. They made me a latte and treated me so well.
It’s really stuck in my mind.

IIRC: That option is only really available on the base models. I think that’s telling.

Did something break? Or are you buying something new?

Just in for a service.

I had one. Key word, HAD. I now have a 14 year old Xterra. A nd a 20 year old Subaru. Both are much more muchier in every way. My old slammed Mini Cooper was more comfortable on long trips. And got better gas mileage too... just saying.

This will sound like I’m damning it with faint praise, but for a crossover, it’s actually not bad in this department. That’s because it’s basically just a lifted A-class...which is why I also don’t understand who it’s for. If I wanted a crossover, I’d want it to be one step bigger so it’s more usable for cargo and such , like a Q5. If I wanted a smaller 4-door hatchback, I’d want it to be hatchback height so it’s more fun to drive, like a GTI or Focus ST/RS. I can assure you the GLA gains nothing in visibility from being slightly higher, which is usually why people say they like small crossovers as far as I can tell.
